Depreciated Trigger?

Hello,

My team has used trigger "when a file is created or modified in a folder" in the past. It now shows as "depreciated."
Will this trigger be supported in the future? If not, what can we use as a substitute?

Other triggers like "when a file is created or modified (properties only)" don't seem to allow us to select a particular file, only an entire SharePoint.

Thanks in advance,

I'm not sure I understand your question. I'm not sure what you mean by "don't seem to allow us to select a particular file" Yes, the trigger has been deprecated, so it will be removed at some point in the future.

The alternative is to use "When a file is created or modified (properties only)" That will fire whenever a file is created or modified for the whole library instead of a particular folder. To limit it to a particular folder you'll need to add either a trigger condition or a condition that checks the path and stops the flow if its not in the right folder. Its more work but its still doable.

    Hi

All triggers like that are going away and the expectation is to ue the with Properties only.

I dont understand what you mean though, it triggers exactly the same the only difference is it doesn't pass you the file etc, you have to make another call to get the file data.

What does it mean doesn't let you select a specific file?

It certainly does tell you exactly which file it triggered for, no difference than the one going away.
