Send Approval Email via Outlook 365 connector format change and errors

So recently I've seen that some of my Approval request emails have changed in my Outlook desktop client. The format used to be like the photo below.

And now they're appearing like this:

Luckily there's an option to view the message in a web browser which gives the "old" view, but if you press any of the approval choices in this new view you get an error message saying that the choice was not recorded and then gives a network trace error which doesn't help. Is there a way for me to force the old view?

    Hi MWilliams86,

What’s the outlook version on your desktop? You could check the version under File>Office account>Product information.

    Which browser are you using?

To test this issue, I create a flow to send an approval email.

On both my Outlook desktop client and Web browser, I am getting the same format, looks like below.

Outlook desktop client version on my side is Version 1705 (Build 8201.2136). The Web browser I am using is Edge.

    Best regards,

Thanks for this. It does look like this must be an internal Outlook client issue. I'll reach out to our tech team to see if this may be an add-on that is attempting to auto-format these emails.
