Power Apps Version Not Updating After Publishing

Hello everyone,

I’m facing an issue where my app's version doesn't update after I publish it in Power Apps. I have publishing the app multiple times with small changes but does not work. Use Power Apps Studio to open the app directly and test and it worked.

What I've Tried:

I've saved and published the app multiple times.

I’ve made minor changes (e.g., added a label) to force an update and republished.

I’ve checked the version history in Power Apps Studio, but all versions still show the same version number.

I’ve also tried clearing the cache and accessing the app from incognito mode in the browser.

Versioning does not seem to be updating, and users still see the same old version of the app after publishing.

Use Power Apps Studio to open the app directly and test - It worked

Any Ideas?

Is there something specific I might be missing when it comes to version control and publishing?

Could this be related to environment issues or a bug in Power Apps?

hey

what do you mean by version number`? The right column of the details screen? this is not the power apps app verion it is the authoring version of the studio you are using. so kind of which version you studio is running on.

if you want to change the authoring version you need to open the app go to settings and pick another version there and save/publish.

2. Caching - Done

3. Different Browser Tried ?

4. Instead of publishing the new version rollback the older version and did u tried publish that version does it create any new version?

I'm having the same issue and have tried clearing cache, new browser, incognito, etc - nothing works. Did you ever find an answer?
