PowerBiIntegration.Refresh() Function Missing / Not Valid

I created a new report in PowerBI and added the PowerApp visual. I have a patch function that I want to update a record. At the end of the patch, I add PowerBiIntegration.Refresh(). However, I am getting an Invocation of an unknown or unsuported function error message. This is brand new powerapp. My PowerBI report is in direct query accessing an MS SQL Server table connected to the enterprise gateway.

Very confused as far as what I am doing wrong. Can someone please help?

    Hi @chan_lee ,

    This issue should only happen with existing PowerApps. Did you make sure that this app is newly created?

    Regards,

    Mona

    @v-monli-msft  Yes. it's a brand new app.

    I figured out what happened. This has to be a phone app but I don't think that was readily clear in the documentations or I missed it. I need custom dimensions instead of just the portrait or landscape limitations with a pixel dimesion of 1136x640. I got past the issue by rebuilding it as a phone app. In order to get the dimensions I need, I had to save the package out onto my computer and set custom height and width in the properties.json file and upload back up to PowerApps. Why won't this work with a tablet app?

    @v-monli-msft Hi, I'm wondering if the PowerBIIntegration.Refresh() function works if I'm using the Import Query mode to connect to SQL Server? I have created a PowerApps via Power BI Server, and so far whatever new input I entered into the form are updated successfully to SQL server, but it doesn't seem to be updating in the PBI visual instantly. And I do not get any error unsupported function error message. So I'm not sure what is the cause of PBI visuals not updating? Could you please help?

    Thank you.
