Loosing the ability to edit expressions after saving

I am not sure what it is but recently I am having issues editing expressions that are already in a flow (in both the new and old designer).

When i create a brand new flow, i can add an expression, then go back to it and click the expression and it opens a window to edit it but once the flow is saved, when i go back and click it. it does nothing, i can select it, then click one of the icons but it just starts a blank expression.

I basically have to copy paste every expression i make into notepad so that if i need to make an edit (which i do often) i dont have to start from scratch..

The other thing i noticed recently is that say for instance i had a parse JSON function, in a new flow the next action will see all the available fields but once saved and backed out, come back to edit and now it does not show any fields and i have to write the expressions manually..

Anyone else having these issues?

Thanks

    Hi,

Yes, I can replicate the behavior, but only on the new designer. If you can replicate it, I'd suggest opening a ticket with Microsoft Support, this appear to be a bug.

    Hope this helps.
    Anthony.

    Same issue. A year later.

Power Automate is absolutely unusable for any serious development.

Is this seriously still like this? The expressions cannot even be edited in code view. Makes the editor really useless.
