Reminder to send follow up email post-meeting

Remembering to follow up after sales call and networking events is hard.

I’m looking to build a flow that sends myself a notification/email each morning, summarising the meetings from the previous day + reminding me to follow up and say thanks.

Has this been done or does anyone know how best to approach this?

thanks!

    Hey @SamDixey.

Which app/ program do you use for documentation of your meetings?

Thats important to know because the flow needs to "find" them...

    Hi @MiPo ,

The meetings are in Microsoft Outlook (either in person or in Teams) - any notes are taken in Microsoft OneNote.

    Thanks

    OK.

You use your desktop OneNote or OneNote App in Sharepoint environment?

It think it´s possible to create a recurring flow, that´s connected to OneNote to create a task in ToDo, Planner or Outlook (what do you prefer?)

HOW do you store your Notes in OneNote?  Could you maybe share a picture?

Flow can retrieve your OneNote Data but you need a specific identifier

@MiPo Thanks for your interest and questions so far. I use OneNote saved in my business OneDrive location.

I’d prefer a reminder email in outlook for the time being (but a power automate notification could work - I have it on my phone).

    hope that helps?

    Hi SamDixey

(I´m sorry, picture is in German language :))

    - You create a recurring task, scheduled as you want.

    - Than you use OneNote action "Access page content" and take the OneNote Book and Page-IDs you want (maybe variabel)

-At last you use "Send e-mail notification". In "Text" you have to use dynamic content "body" from OneNote.

    That worked for me.

It worked for me also with "create planner task".

Thanks! Is there any way that it can amended to send a note of only the OneNote page that has been updated?

As i have many different pages within one NoteBook section - I'd want to ensure it sends me just the latest, updated page 🙂
