Data from power app into sharepoint list

Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the right place or if this is an issue more with the sharepoint side of my problem.
I have created a power app linked to a sharepoint list and the data input in the power app successfully writes into the sharepoint list.
However, the main problem I'm having is that when the entry in the sharepoint list is double clicked on to view it, it takes the user to a blank app screen saying "getting your data".
What I want it to do really is to view the entry within the sharepoint list, I have seen other lists where it opens the information in a column down the side of the screen rather than taking the user back into the app.
I hope this makes sense, happy to provide any more information that may be needed.

    Hi

You said you created an App, but only a Form, would Open up if you double click, not an App. An App is disconnected from the List.

Once you associate the record, its going to open your New Form each time.

Also, please share pictures next time :-)

Ah okay, I see what you mean now :)
So one option would be to recreate the same form but as a seperate Power App?
With the custom form that I currently have, do you know how to get it so that the data recorded into the Sharepoint list is viewable within the form? Currently if I click on the data in the Sharepoint list, it opens up a blank version of the form rather than populating it with the data. I've attached a picture to try and make this a bit clearer.
Not sure if it's made a bit more complicated as the custom form contains several edit forms that are then submitted using a button with a patch.
