Failure emails/ notifications

Good day, 

I have a flow that runs 24/7 in 5 minute intervals. When it fails is it possible to configure power automate to send an email if the flow has either failed or been running for x amount of time (such as 1 hr)?

Thank you for any assistance

    Hi @Sean95,
     
    By default, Power Automate will send you a failure notification email only to Owner. You can also add a "Run After Failure" step and send an email notification.
     
    For running X amount of time you need to have a monitoring flow to track the execution.

    You can send an email if the flow run has failed using a scope and variable actions. You can follow this post here to set it up: https://rajeevpentyala.com/2024/02/29/quick-tip-power-automate-flow-sending-an-email-with-failed-flow-run-link/
     
    However, to send emails if the flow is taking longer you will first have to identify the action(s) on which the time is being exceeded and then time out that action and send the email (this would mark the flow as failed though).
