Hi community,
it's that time again when I have to bite the bullet and finally come back here to ask for help.
This is my scenario. I have a MS SQL server filled with about 300.000 static, (static meaning the data inside does not change), rows. I have a Power Apps that needs to access these 300.000 rows for look up purposes. So just hook up the SQL Server to the Power Apps you might be thinking now, BUT that would be too easy, as the organisation I am with to date does not allow connecting with premium connectors. 🙄😥
So this leads me to a topic I tried to avoid as long as possible but now obviously cant no longer: the 2000 record limit.
What are your takes on how to tackle my problem? Any ideas welcome.
Thank you and best regards
JHL
One suggestion from my side, will be to import the information present in SQL to SharePoint.
From there you can connect the Power App to SharePoint and perform all the required operations on the SharePoint data source as it supports all the function the same way as SQL and is also a standard connector.
If the information shared helps you, please consider giving a thumbs up 👍
