control f replace old list with new list
how do you do this for all instances?

Make sure you have the Search feature turned on (go to your app settings and then into the upcoming features)
Then you will have the search icon on the left pane. In there is a replace capability that will do what you want.
I hope this is helpful for you.
Actually, forget the first part of turning the feature on...they have now made it standard and it should already be available in your designer.
