    Hi @GrahamRoberts

As Per My Knowledge of Microsoft Flow you have Problem in the Getting Email Data into the List and Specifically you have the Body Part of your mail into the Html Format, right ?

Actually earlier i also had faced this Issue, You have to do small change in the Column Which you are Storing the Body of your Email make Column "Multiline" and also Choose the "Rich Text Box".

I am 100% Sure that this Approach will solve your Problem. However oi this not works fell free to ask.

As you can see in the Picture one is Simple Multiline Column with "Plain Text" and Last one Column is with "Rich Text box" setting.

    Thanks

    Hello @GrahamRoberts

I tried that Flow and get the solution !

You can solve it by adding just one step in the flow you have to Convert the HTML to plain text via just one step before you Update the task details see the Image belowAdd converter.png

You have to put the value of the email body into the converter for to convert the HTML text to the Plain Text.

(In my case i have Taken the Body of the Email, In your case you can take the "Event details" i have Double checked i assure you that it will work on both ways on Email Body Content and in Sharing list Field too.)Converter.PNG

at last use the plain text Dynamic Content where ever you want to use.

(In my case i just used the Only plain text Content but in your case you have to replace it with the Event )

    Thanks

    Hi @GrahamRoberts,

I agree with @Dev_Nikhil's thought almost, I think a "Html to text" action could achieve your needs.

I have made a test on my side and the flow's configuration as below:24.JPG

The flow works successfully as below:25.JPG

    26.JPG

The created item in my SharePoint list as below:27.JPG

In addition, I think it is not necessary to configure "Rich Text box" setting in your SharePoint list. If you want to convert the body (html text) of the email into normal plain text and fill it into your SharePoint list column, you could also use the "Html to text" action to convert the html text into normal plain text:28.JPG

    Best regards,

    Kris

Your solution works perfectly well. However, in my company I can't use it because of Data Privacy issues with this connector. Is there any other solution around that you can suggest?
