Timeout on web page load in seconds or milliseconds ?

I need to slow UI automation for web site because it start to become very slow but I found there is an option to set timeout on web page load but is it in seconds or milliseconds ? the tip say seconds but I dont think this 200 value is in seconds ?

Hi @William5234

That's a valid one only, as it is a time out, so it will wait until 3.33 minutes if website is loaded and UIElement is found within that time then it will be successful or else it will raise error after 3.33 minutes

Timeout is a good option when you have a slow website or random speed of the website. So, let suppose if your website was fast and opened in few seconds itself then it will not wait upto 3.33 minutes. So, in short you are giving the max time to wait the element to appear

In my case it does not wait 3.33 minutes and I get error that element not found

Hi @William5234

So, as I Said, if the website is loaded then it will proceed to check for the element and if the element is not found it will through the error

If you want to wait explicitly 3.33 mintues then use wait action instead of time out. Wait action is a fixed time wait even the website elements are ready still it will wait for 3.33 mintues and after it proceed

Okay, If this action not reaching your expectation, then before click link on webpage you can place wait for webpage content action and give the same amount of time you have given which is 200

The reason it throws an error is because the timeout is not defined to "wait for an element to appear before clicking it". What it defines is how much time the flow should wait for the page to load after the element is clicked. So, as @Srini007 correctly recommended, what you need is to wait for the element to appear first, and then click on it.
