Having trouble connecting to Sharepoint Online calendar

Hi everyone,

Big thanks in advance for helping me with this. I absolutely love this community and have had great success working out my issues with those much smarter than myself.

In short: I'm having trouble using the Get Items card to pull data from a Sharepoint Online calendar (not list). I've read to use a custom value and type in the name manually, but it's not detecting it. I've tried copying/pasting the URL and also typing in the friendly name with no luck.

In long: My goal is to make a flow that checks every day at 3am for any all day (and recurring monthly) events coming up 7 days from now, then create a task in Planner (if one isn't created already) assigned to the person assigned in the event, with a due date that matches the event's day.

I hope what I'm trying to accomplish is even possible. If you don't think it is please let me know and I won't waste anyone's time trying to figure out how to connect to the Sharepoint Online calendar.

@mstump , the SharePoint Calendar that you are referring to is it the SharePoint list of type Calendar?

It is not a SharePoint list in calendar view. It is a SharePoint calendar.

@mstump  when you want to get data from SharePoint Calendar, then you need to select Custom Value from Listname dropdown and provide the Name of the SharePoint Calendar, in Get Items action.

Also you mentioned that you want to get recurring monthly event coming up in next 7 days, but recurring events are not supported by Get Items action and also it not support in REST API, so currently we cant fetch recurring events of SharePoint Calendar in Power Automate.

Okay thank you. If pulling recurring events isn't possible, then there's no reason to continue trying this solution through Power Automate. Thank you for your help.
