ComboBox Default won't update 'Link to item' image

Hi all,

I have a troublesome Combo Box that feeds an image a URL via the 'Link to Item' function. This all works perfectly, except when I try populate the combo box through the DefaultSelectedItems option. The image won't load at all. It's almost like the combo box isn't actually SELECTING the default item, rather just displaying it's name.

The correct default item is displayed in the combo box but the image can't pull the URL using what's displayed, for some reason.

Does anyone have an idea how I can resolve this, or if there's an easier way to do this?

Many thanks!

    Hi @Lee5150 ,

Do you mean when your function in DefaultSelectedItems option works, it will display the default item's name but won't display its image?

How do you set the DefaultSelectedItems option? Where do you want to display the image?

    Best regards,

Hi! And thank you for your reply.

Yes, you are correct! The image that the DefaultSelectedItems option should show, doesn’t show unless you physically click the name in the combo box list.

I’ve managed to solve this very crudely. I’ve had to set up drop downs on an unseen screen that filter to the same text as the DefaultSelectedItems would show. Then change the DefaultSelectedItems to match whatever is shown in each drop-down. It works as it should, although I think there should be an easier way.
