Dear All,

I think there is a limitation bug in the Powerapps (V2), because I only can add 19 pieces input parameter to the trigger what is very few.

Do you have any idea how to increase it?

Hi @akosbanar ,

You can try passing the values in collection from PowerApps it if suites your requirement.

Unfortunately I can't because I'd like to use (after PowerApps V2) 'Populate a Microsoft Word template' function what needs separate data construction.

I've just come across this limit and can't quite believe it. At every point Microsoft Automate seems to stymie solutions with arbitrary limits.

Is there any plans to change this limit?

It would be nice if there were more inputs, but there's a very routine work-around for anything like this.

You can concatenate many inputs into a single string delimited by a unique character or character combination like pipes | then use that as a flow input. Then on the flow side use a split( ) expression to get the individual pieces back out & reference them using array indexing.

So in Power Apps something like...

Concatenate(Input1 & "|" & Input2 & "|" Input3)

Then in the flow something like...

Compose action
Split(TextInput1, '|')
Then wherever you want to reference the inputs something like...

Outputs('Compose')?[0] would return Input1 in this example

Outputs('Compose')?[1] would return Input2 in this example

Outputs('Compose')?[2] would return Input3 in this example

If you're using V2 trigger, how do you concatenate items outside of the trigger? I'm trying 'compose' to write the formula and the only dynamic content available is from the V2 trigger.

I'm new to power automate and I have 19+ fields in Sharepoint List A, and I'm trying to create an item in Sharepoint List B via button trigger (in list A). I understand the concept of your answer, but I'm having trouble putting it into practice.

For this we concatenate the strings in the Power App formula & use that concatenation in the input going to Power Automate.

Then in Power Automate you reference that input & split out the component pieces with expressions like the ones mentioned previously.

Ok, create the concatenate in PowerApps, then split in PowerAutomate.

I'm still getting stuck - please see below:

Here is an example App - the card at the bottom displaying "1|Bacon Ipsum Line 1|100|100" is the concatenated text (left visible for this example) that I want to split out in another list:

Here in PowerAutomate V2, I have my variable names set, I included 'Hidden Concat', expecting to input it's value in the button trigger's formula.

I tried to see how the split expression played out, however when I tried to split the 'Hidden Concat', it did not work:

I'm sure I'm not doing this correctly, is there a step or process I'm overlooking or forgetting?
