Hi,

I seem to be too stupid or new and just cannot figure it out myself:

  • I have a list with several columns
  • Once an element is changed an e-mail goes out that the element has been changed (and by whom and when)
  • I also want to include the column that has been changed (and possibly the new content of that field/column

... and this is where I am lost. Any ideas? Would be grateful for any solution before I spend a whole weekend on it although everyone who is more experienced than me could possibel doe i tin minutes 🙂

Thanks a Million

    I don't think, it will be a simple solution on the Power Automate side.

    @muralidharan

    Thanks a lot! Does that mean (as it is quite complicated or at least a lot of steps (get values, compare, use the newest) that there is no simply "What has changed" or "Which column has changed"?

    Sorry for putting this is such a simple way... just asking 🙂

    Cheers

    @Thorsten_T

    You can get the details by playing around with SharePoint versioning API.

    Here is a sample to get the data from SharePoint List Item -

    https://www.c-sharpcorner.com/article/getting-version-history-of-sharepoint-list-item-using-power-automate/

    Once you got the all the versions, then you can apply logic to compare the most recent value with the second recent values.

    Hope this helps you.
