Hi, confused on how to modify this field to show only 2 decimal places and adding a comma for thousands.

Any insight for the field within the "Populate Word" would be appreciated.

    Hi @mgd1317

    Pls try the below expression and pass the decimal value dynamically in place of hard code value:

    Expression needs to be added in the expression box as highlighted in the above screenshot:

    formatNumber(7168.5500000000,'#,###.00')

    If this helps & solves your problem, please remember to give a 👍 and accept my solution as it will help others in the future.

    Hi, appreciate the response.  Confused a little bit.  Here's what I put in place because I cannot hard code any value since it always changes.

    Here's what I put in place, that does not work, although I thought it would if I added in the field.

    formatNumber(outputs('Get_item')?['body/Amount_x0020_to_x0020_Bill'],'#,###.00')

    Here's the error.

    Your Sharepoint column type is String.

    Either change it to Number or convert this string to a Number in Power Automate with function float()

    Appreciate that insight.  What would the syntax be for the float string?

    formatNumber(
    	float(
    		outputs('Get_item')?['body/Amount_x0020_to_x0020_Bill']
    	),
    	'#,###.00'
    )
