Cannot find the dynamic items

As I want to create trigger conditions for "When an item is created or modified", I've applied the Filter array to copy the results. However, I find that Filter array cannot find the Dynamic content from "When an item is created or modified". Hence, I wonder whether this trigger condition can return dynamic items or just return nothing.

This method is I learnt from Bing Videos, but the Youtuber had the Dynamic content and he started off by "When an item or file is modified" which is similar to "When an item is created or modified". I've tried to exactly copy this Youtuber's approach and start by "When an item or file is modified", but still cannot work. Why so?

Hi @Yue_Jiang ,

Let me explain that the When an item or a file is modified trigger is different from the When an item is created or modified trigger.

If you want to filter the created or modified items, please add conditions to the trigger, but What filter do you want to set? I can help you set it up in the trigger.

Thank you so much for your reply! I want to set the Trigger Condition such that once a column in sharePoint list called condition_now becomes Inactive, the flow will be triggered to send out emails. As I've learnt from one Youtuber, I just imitated his approach but it didn't work.

1)We don't need value, adding dynamic content directly to the Filter array is equal to Inactive.

Like this:

2)Click Edit in advanced mode.

3)Copy this code to trigger condition:

4)Delete Filter array.

Hi, Sunshine Gu.
Thank you so much again! But my question is that there is no dynamic content I can select, like you can select Partname from your created SharePoint list. But my own sharepoint list already had so many columns, but cannot be retrieved.

Please make sure you select the correct Site Address and list name.

Do not click From in the Filter array, but click Add dynamic content below.

It’s not that I don’t want to help you write the expression, it’s because your column name contains the '_' special characters.

This will cause the display name to be different from the internal name. We need to reference the internal name of the column in the expression.I don’t know what the internal name of your condition_now column is.

If you can go to the Sharepoint list and see the internal name of condition_now and its type and provide a screenshot, I can give you with the expression.

Here are the steps to view the internal name of a column.

I figured out that the '_' symbol is still '_' in the internal name of the SharePoint list, so the display name and internal name of 'condition_now' are still the same.

If the type of your 'condition_no' column is single selection, please try to put this expression into the trigger condition.

@equals(triggerOutputs()?['body/condition_now/Value'], 'Inactive')
