Can't login to Power Automation using Microsoft personal account

When I attempt to login to power automate using a Microsoft personal email address, I get the following error message

"Selected user account does not exist in tenant 'Microsoft Services' and cannot access the application '6204c1d1-4712-4c46-a7d9-3ed63d992682' in that tenant. The account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first. Please use a different account."

How to fix this problem so that I can login and create flows using outlook.com connector?

Are you trying to add your personal ID with organization services if yes its not recommended to do that.

If you are trying with your own tenant, ensure the account needs to be added as an external user in the tenant first.

I am just trying to access the outlook.com connector via make.powerautomate.com in order to create a cloud flow in order to process emails in my outlook.com mailbox via my outlook live Microsoft account.

No, I am not trying to add my personal ID with organization services.

I am just a regular outlook.com consumer trying to create a flow to my outlook.com mailbox... but the error seems to associate my account with some other tenant. I don't understand. This should be simple and easy.

pls help. if Microsoft reviewing this post, pls make this as easy as using zoom. click a "create flow" button in Outlook and it automatically know what account to associate and will direct you to the correct authentication flow in order to access the correct cloud flow for power automate give the login mailbox tenant.

The service may be complex, but the implementation should be easy as pie to the consumer.

Since 2025-7-27 Microsoft stopped Power Automate service for personal account (not associated with school or work) users. It's a bummer.
