App with SQL server ass source - works in editor but not in published app

Hi

I have an powerapp that have 3 sql tables as sources.

Projects

Customers

Users

It is an very simple app, i just do lookups and get some values.

Lookup for Projects and Customers works in editor and published app.

But lookup for users only works in editor and not published app.

When opening the app live, i get an network error when running the lookup for the users table.

In the editor i get no error and i do get the response from the lookup i want.

I have tried adding a gallery to the app.

in the editor all the users data is displayed in the gallery

but in the browser when running the app live i get nothing in the gallery and the same network error.

It seems i can connect to the datasource users in the editor, but not in the live published app in the browser.

I have tried to remove the datasource Users. Saving the app. Publishing and then closing the app in the editor. Opening from start and republish it after adding the Users table again. Did not work.

But if i create a brand new app. then user table work. but i cant create a new app now... i need to fix this.

How should i fix this?

    Hi @Oskarkuus,

Since it works in a new app but not in the existing one, it could be related to your browser cache. Could you give the following steps a try:

    • Save & republish
    • Try to access the app from a different browser / guest mode
    • Clear your browser cache

In my experience trying another browser or clearing the cache often times fixed the discrepancies between the editor and live version.

If this solves your question, would you be so kind as to accept it as a solution & give it a thumbs up.

    Thanks!
