Generic account to centralize tools

Hello, some time ago in some organizations I saw a standardization where there were generic accounts, which were used to publish a set of tools that are part of the same solution, including power apps, power automate, etc. The objective was to centralize all development of the published tool and connections in a single account. They called these "Service Accounts". Is this considered good development practice? Is there a more elegant way to do this?

Yes, it’s a good and extended practice but there is not Microsoft documentation about this.

I would like to know if it is good practice to do this or if it is against Microsoft standards, and if it is allowed, is there any documentation about it?

    Hi,

in my opinion it's a good practice to use services accounts to create critical solutions. To this way it's not matters the persona that develop the solution, always it will working with the same account.

Also, now many organizations have in their users 2FA authentication or credentials mandatory rotation. Using a Service account normally avoid this security terms.
