SFTP Create File

Hello,

I'm having an issue with my current SFTP flow. I have a SFTP site where several files are upoaded to one file directory (File1, File2, File3, File4), and I want to select and copy a specific file (File1) to another SFTP site. The flow runs with no error. However, when another file (File2, File3...etc.) is created in the original file directory it overrights (File1). I must be missing something here but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @jake223 first thing jumping out at me in your screenshot is that your filename for the action "Create file 2" has a filename of file1. Are the others using a different name? I'm assuming that the output dynamic content is from the Compose action directly above?

    Hi @MattWeston365 ,

The create file2 is creating a file in a new SFTP site (/Dir2) with a new naming convention (File1.YYYYMMDD) using output from the compose action.

I guess my issue is since several files are being generated in (/Dir1) Example:

    xxx.FileName1.Date.time.csv

    xxx.FileName2.Date.time.csv

    xxx.FileName3.Date.time.csv

    xxx.FileName4.Date.time.csv

I only want to get lets say (FileName1) (Ignore all others) and move that file to another SFTP site, but when other file are is generated (FileName2, FileName3...etc) my flow is being overritten by these other files.

Hi @jake223, just so I get the scenario clear in my head.

    1. You create File1 in SFTP1.
    2. Flow picks up File1 and "moves" it to SFTP2.
    3. You create File2 in SFTP1
    4. Flow picks up File2 and "moves" it to SFTP2, but overwrites File1?

    Hi @MattWeston365

Yes, That is correct. but I think I have figured it out. By Deleting the Original file after I move it to the second SFTP site. I'm not sure why but it's working.
