Hi all,
Does anyone know if Formula Columns (using Power Fx) in Dataverse have gone to General Availability now, or are they still in Preview? (Keen to establish this as can't use them for a solution to go to Production if not yet GA).
This page notes "preview" in the link: Column data types in Microsoft Dataverse (contains video) - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn
But I didn't spot any notion of a Preview status on the main page on this topic (for the main functionality): Work with Dataverse formula columns - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn
It is quite frustrating that it's so difficult to find the status of a attribute like this. If anyone knows of a reliable resource to look this up, it would be great to know about it.
Thank you very much!
hi @pp365
The Power Fx columns are not in GA, only the Get formula suggestions (preview) feature is in preview, to this I tell you that depending on the use case you can use it or not, at the end of the documentation it places limitations on you
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/data-platform/formula-columns?tabs=type-or-paste
In this link you can check the status of the characteristicshttps://releaseplans.microsoft.com/es-es/?app=Power+Apps&status=new&rp=all-plans
Thank you @Jmanriquerios !
And here is the direct link for anyone wanting to use the resource in English: Microsoft Power Platform - Release Plans
(The language picker is in the top right of the page).
