Hi,

I have created a PowerApps solution for a Android user.  we able to access the app in mobile through PowerApps. Do we have any option to create  APK files for Android so couple of other users can directly install and access the app instead of using PowerApps ?

Regards,

Srini

let's ignore for a second that this probably should go in the PowerApps forum.

PowerApps are mostly just meta data that is read by the mobile app and then interpreted. Do you really want to wrap another layer around that? You would still have to manage permissions and licenses (for premium connectors) separately.  You could distribute the PowerApps apk  (especially if you intend to run an older version).

    Thanks for the suggestion.

Got your point but here the problem is users don't want to use PowerApps in mobile. They just wanted to access application.

I think that is not possible, because we need Microsoft platform to run the application created in PowerApps.

Regarding permission and licenses, I'm not worried because it's just a one time activity and for fixed users that is not going to change frequently.
And you are saying about adding another layer around the app ! how does that works ?

You would take the play URL https://apps.powerapps.com/play/e/xxx  and have your apk start a browser with that URL (with enforced desktop mode). But this will likely take you right back to the prompt to install the native app.
