How to specify a view from a SHarePoint list in my Canvas App

I have created a simple Canvas App that accesses a SharePoint list. All works well. The list display properly, can access item detail, search list and create new list items.

I would like to specify the list view I've created to display the list in the Canvas App. I have multiple views and would like to either select which view to use or set the view on the page on the app.

So, basically down to filtering on columns then?

Power Apps doesn't support the use of list views from SharePoint.  You'll need to recreate the specifications of the view you want in the Power App itself.

From what I can find online, this seems problematic with SharePoint.

If so, the list view I'm trying to display is based on a field in the list. Could I use a Icon to filter this list on the field?
