Shared canvas app but user still cannot see it

I have a canvas app in a new environment.
I have shared the app with a user, but the user cannot see this app in the M365 portal.

Investigation shows that this person is not showing up as a user in the environment in question.

Along with sharing the app, do i have to add the user at the environment level?

    Hey   @winston_smyth

Yes, in addition to sharing the app with the user, you also need to add the user at the environment level in Power Apps. Sharing the app only grants the user access to the app itself, but they also need permissions at the environment level to access and use the app within that environment.

To add a user to the environment, follow these steps:

    1. Open the Power Apps maker portal (https://make.powerapps.com/) and sign in with an account that has the necessary permissions to manage the environment.

    2. Click on "Environments" in the left navigation pane and select the environment where the app is located.

    3. In the environment details page, click on "Users" in the left navigation pane.

    4. Click on "Invite user" and enter the email address of the user you want to add to the environment.

    5. Select the appropriate role for the user (e.g., Environment Maker, Environment Admin, Environment User) based on the level of access they need.

    6. Click "Add" to send the invitation to the user.

Once the user accepts the invitation and is added to the environment, they should be able to see the app in the M365 portal and have access to it within that environment.

      I hope this helps 🙂
