HI,

This has always been an issue, but now its going on 80%+ of the questions provide literally no details related to the problem.

Please try to remember, we cannot guess what is on your screen, you must share it, using Pictures and Code Snippets etc.

1. Please do not just say "xyz is not working" and share nothing else. We do not want to have to ask you to provide details for something
you should have shared originally. If we need to put out the easy things that should be shared, then your answer pool is going to zero.

2. Please make the subjects clear

3. Please start by explaining what you want, not a background on the entire app and how many previous issues you had or even what you've tried.
Just say what you want

4. Next just clearly explain, in a short explanation, what its doing and why that makes it work wrong

5. Share Images of your App, Flow, Flow Run, Inputs, Outputs etc.

You are asking us to debug and in most cases, either WRITE your flow for you (and apps), or to answer your question.

However, you are giving almost nothing for us to work with

Again this is not everyone, but its a mass majority nowadays.

Please OverShare, but do not overshare how you decided what you broke, or how many devs were on it, or even about the attempts you tried but they didnt work, because its a good
change that once we help you the proper solution, whether you feel you tried it or not, is going to be the answer and the code around it just needed to be fixed.

Finally please give the authors of the answeres and suggestions a Thumbs up (Like) and a Mark as the Answer. Multiple people in your thread might be correct, feel free
to mark them all.

Thanks

I completely agree with these points being made here by FLMike. It’s hard, if not impossible, to help when there’s not enough information.

Use a CLEAR and SPECIFIC subject line.
Instead of "Help needed," say "Flow not sending email after form submission."

Clearly explain the issue and what you need help with.
Instead of "My flow isn’t working," say "My flow isn’t sending an email when triggered by a form submission."

Keep your explanation short and focused on the problem.
Instead of "I’ve been working on this app for weeks and tried multiple solutions..." say "I need help with my flow not sending emails after a form submission. Here are the steps I’ve taken."

Avoid unnecessary background stories - get straight to the point.
Instead of writing, "I’ve been working on this app for months, tried several approaches, and faced many issues....," say "I’m having trouble with the flow not triggering correctly. Here’s the current issue."

Long texts overwhelm readers and make it hard to identify the main issue. Please focus on explaining the current problem clearly and concisely.

    FLMike:

Good post. Hopefully people will read it. There hasn't been a super user meeting since before summer that I can remember. But if they have another one soon, I will bring this up and maybe something like your post can be a highlighted post in the community or at least added to Helpful Resources.

BTW, do you know how to @ mention people in the new forums?
