Connect attendance app with Sharepoint

Hello community, this is an attendance app.
It's in German but I'll translate it.

Present = Green
Excused = Grey
Late = Yellow
Absent = Red

Above are departments like Logistics, HR & SCM.

How can I connect the status that is a gallery in a conatiner with the department so if I click on present for logistics and then click on save button should save the date and status of the department in sharepoint.

We need a bit more information about the list you want to record it in in SharePoint. It should be some kind of Patch(), but you need to be able to identify the record you want to patch and exactly what gets saved.

what kind of information do you need exactly. I try to do my best.
For example in Logistic I click on Present then I click on Save button. I want the value Present to be entered in sharepoint table. because there is the column with departments a Choice column.

We need to know what the table looks like and what column you want to record present it.

1) Is there one record per department or multiple records where the value needs to be changed?

2) What field does the "present" value get recorded in

3) Where is the button that does the recording? Is it inside the table or outside the table. Does it record for all the entries in the Gallery or just the selected entry?

You've left a lot of details out of the request. Without those there is no way to give you an answer.
