Edit MailChimp from SharePoint List

I am currently using the template that adds new contacts to MailChimp lists whenver a new contact is added in SharePoint. This works great.

But I am in need of a flow that will "edit" or "remove" a MailChimp contact from an associated SharePoint list.

If someone has done this, could you share your flow with me? or suggest what pieces I may need to make this work.

thanks

    Hi @fonefoo,

Do you want to edit or remove a MailChimp contact when the associated contact is modified or removed in a SharePoint list?

For Editing MailChimp contact, please take a try with the following workaround:

    1. Add “When an item is created or modified” action.
    2. Add “Update member information. (V1)”

The flow works successfully as below:7.JPG

For removing MailChimp contact, there is no trigger to monitor if the item is removed in Microsoft Flow currently, so there is no way to remove a MailChimp contact from an associated SharePoint list.

    Best regards,

    Kris

Well #1 priority would be to "edit" a contact in MailChimp when editing the associated contact in a SharePoint List.

I'll give the template you posted a try and let you know how it works out.

Deleting is less important. If we know of someone who must be deleted we can do that from within MailChimp.

I don't have "Status Value" in my dynamic contention options...

I am using the V1 template as suggested.

    Hi @fonefoo,

The Status field is a custom field in my SharePoint list, which may confuse you. Sorry for no explaining clearly.

    Best regards,

    Kris

    ah makes sense now.

what type of data should the custom value be?

I imagine someone going into the sharepoint list, editing someone's email, saving and mail chimp being updated.

to accomplish this how would you suggest I configure the status option?

    thanks

I created a column in my SharePoint list called MailChimp.

Set it up for choice selection. subscribed, unsubscribed, cleaned, pending

With this setup, I can adjust the subscription status of someone on a MailChimp list from SharePoint.

I am also able to edit First or Last name in SharePoint Lists and have it update the contact in MailChimp.

What I am struggling with is editing a contacts email address from SharePoint and having it update on MailChimp.
