Sorry for my negligent. I re-read the official documentation and found there are method of DayOfWeek() & DayOfYear() derived from standard datatype handler. The solve out link pasted below.

I also reviewed this question, it probably happened when I extracted the SelectedDateTime from a CustomFormData derived from CustomObject and there is no such an optional method, since CustomFormData has not been filled by user before running.
