Good morning,
We've had a flow set up for months now and it's always worked fine. Starting yesterday, the 'run' button in Excel that you normally need to press to start the flow, is completely missing. I've seen it before where it's greyed out but this time, it's not grey, just totally missing. It looks like this for everyone who is listed as an owner for the flow, so it's not just impacting one user. Can anyone assist with how to resolve this and get the run button back?
Hi @LarissaWeber ,
it depends on your screen size/resolution (I'm currently using a 24" external monitor with a 1920x1080 resolution).
On a smaller screen:

Oh wow! That's a great find. Thanks so much for sharing and I really hope Microsoft does a fix for this. The button used to be right there and so easy and then one day, it was just gone
I could not figure out how to extend the Flow section wider like you showed though. Can you explain how you got it to stretch out like that?
Hi @LarissaWeber, here's another workaround: resize the Flow panel. 😂
This morning I started exploring the "Flow button for Excel" feature for the first time.
I immediately stumbled into the missing RUN icon issue. ☹️
I tried your "Edit the flow" hack and it worked.
Anyway, since I would like to introduce this feature to a customer I thought I couldn't ask him to edit the flow each time he wants to use the flow automation. Then I started play around and found a very stupid still effective workaround.
If you enlarge the flow panel enough (>=770px) the RUN button appears again.
This workoaround works on my external monitor (24") but not on my laptop (15").
What can I do to have it working on the laptop display?
I know this is far from ideal but at least it's an easy workaround.
I'll create a request to Microsoft to fix this.
Hope it helps.
Luca
The work around I was able to find yesterday was within the edit. If I clicked on the three dots, and then Edit, I had to reconnect the file that it was pulling from, then push save. After it finished saving, click the back arrow and then a "Run" button is now there....a few extra steps then before and still not sure why, but at least we can flow now. Hoping it's just a glitch and goes back to 'normal' so we do not keep having to do all these extra steps every time.
Thanks for the reply 🙂
Is your DX Audit name clickable in the name box?
We had the same thing happen but I accidently clicked on the name and it loaded a new screen with a run flow button. I am not sure if this is a UI change or a workaround.
