Disable Flow as Admin not working

I'm setting up a cloud flow to monitor non-IT Team members creating flows. The plan is to send an email to the creator the day after the flow is made, then disable the flow. On the subsequent day, the flow will be deleted.

I'm the environment's system administrator with full access to the admin center. Yet, when I attempt to execute an action through the "Power Automate for Admin" connector—such as disabling a flow or deleting it as an admin—the following error message appears:

"You are not permitted to make flows in this '[nameoftheenviroment]'. Please switch to the default environment, or to one of your own environment(s), where you have maker permissions."

I've tried granting me permission as an Enviroment Maker, but it also didn't work.

    Hi,

I am also facing the same issue. There is no reply for this issue in this thread I see. Anyone have any idea how to solve this?

    Hi!

    I discovered two things:

    1. I always need to modify the flow owners before disabling it. So, I use "Modify owners as admin" to add myself.
    2. I was using the wrong parameter; it is supposed to be "Name" instead of "Display Name".

Maybe this will help you too.
