File Upload Notification Flow

Hi all,

I currently have a flow setup so that each time a file is uploaded to a SharePoint library, an email and Teams message is sent to the file 'owner', which is represented by a people column I created in the table. What we have found is this can be quite problematic if many individual files are uploaded at once, as both a Teams message and email is generated for each file. How could I edit this flow so that I can still send an email that is segmented by owner, that shows a list with a path to all files that were uploaded within the past hour? Ideally the notification would look/function something like this:

@EMKody Since multiple files can be uploaded at once, have you considered using a recurrence trigger instead? This way you can set the flow to run at an interval you set (eg. every 15 mins).

I would also recommend adding a custom column to track whether a Teams message has been posted for a file or not. This could be a Yes/No or Date column (any column really.. up to you)

    Hey @creativeopinion,

First off, hats off to you for your YouTube content. I have already watched several of your videos and subscribed! Love the style and how thorough they are. I am wondering though what your thinking is with the yes/no column for Teams, and how you would use it.

@EMKody Thanks for watching and subscribing. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I was suggesting you add a Yes/No column to your document library to track which files you've already posted about in Teams. This way you could use a recurrence trigger instead to check your document library on an interval.
