Insufficient Privileges to Add user to Azure AD Group

Hello! I am a first time Poster.

I am trying to get a flow to Run to add a user to an Azure AD Security group (Not a Dist List or Mail-Enabled Security Group which are not supported).

I have a Power App submitting an item to a SharePoint List via a Patch Function.

The Flow pulls the Info from the List and can sucessfully create the user in Azure AD but when I try to do the next step adding to the Group, it comes back with an Insufficient Privilege to Complete the Operation.  The Flow Connection user for Azure AD is a Global Admin and an Owner of the Group that we are trying to add to.  The only other item that is in this is that the Security Group that we are trying to add the user to has an Azure AD License Assignment Rule to Assign a Business Premium License automatically.

Any Ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Michael

I am running into the exact same issue.   I have full admin privileges and am the owner of the group.  We are simply trying to assign an Outlook license.

Working with 365 Support for a long bit we found that the Account Running the Power Automate Flow must also be the Account that created and owns the group that you are trying to add members to.  Both must be true.
