How to change filed type from text to date....

Hi,

I created a powerapp form based on a sharepoint list I have.

Although in the sharepoint list this field is clearly as "Date", in PowerApp it was created as text.

I would like to convert this field to a date picker...

I'm pretty sure it's really a basic step but I'm having difficulties finding how.

    Hi @Chonski 

    On the basis that your 'date creation' field is of datatype date in SharePoint, I would delete the 'date creation' field from your form and re-add it. When you re-add it, you can change the control type.

    The fields were indeed not defined as date in the sharepoint list.
