Selecting Data in Gallery and making it editable

Hello,

I am attempting to create a feature in my PowerApp that would allow me to select a record and then on the same screen make a few of the fields editable. I would like to select the arrow and then have the team, user, and comments transfer over to the white boxes. I have been trying to patch it together, but nothing appears to be working for me. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you want to edit the gallery selected record in a form?

Could you please tell me that what do you mean by patching it together, save data back?

Just set the OnSelect of the arrow icon as below:

EditForm(Form1)

Set the Item property of the Form1 as below:

Gallery1.Selected

Set the Save button OnSelect as below:

SubmitForm(Form1)

If you want to add a new record ignoring the previous selected record, please set the Deny OnSelect as below:

NewForm(Form1)
