Documentation on Process Mining - Mapping

Are there any detailed documentation on using Process Mining?  I like to better understand what is the difference between Case Level Attributes vs Event Level Attributes.  It would great to understand what each of the mapping option mean, along with examples (ie in processing an invoice)
