Issue sending email from flow : "message": "Id is malformed."

Hi all,

I created my first flow

"When a file is changed -> Forward an e-mail message"

when I activate the trigger, modifying the file, I get the following error

Hi @Anonymous,

Could you please share a screenshot of your flow's configuration?

The error message told that there is something wrong with the input parameters that you provided within the "Forward an email" action.

Please check if you have provided proper Message Id (the unique identifier of the Outlook message) within the Message Id field of the "Forward an email" action.

In addition, please also check if you have provided a proper email address which ends with a semicolon (;) within the To field of the "Forward an email" action.

I have made a test on my side and please take a try with the following workaround:

Hi @Anonymous,

I think there is something wrong with your flow's configuration.

The Message Id field of the "Forward an email" action is required to provide a Message Id (the unique identifier of the Outlook message) of an Outlook email rather than the Dynamic contents that you selected from the trigger (the trigger from OneDrive connector or OneDrive for Business connector).

More details about the "Forward an email" action of Office 365 Outlook connector, please check the following article:

"Forward an email" action

If you type the Dynamic contents from the trigger (the trigger from OneDrive connector or OneDrive for Business connector) within the Message Id field of the "Forward an email" action, the flow would fail. You should provide a Message Id dynamic content for the Message Id field of the "Forward an email" action.

How do you get the Message-id and in what format is the parameter expected in?

I put in a variety of combinations, all of which either got the 'id is malformed' error or an 'invalid JSON' error:
