Hi all,
I have encountered an issue within flow which I know is somthing that would require more of a culture change with the business I work for then a technical bug would would be beneficial all the same.
When an approval is triggered it sends an email to the listed approver and the sender is listed as Microsoft Flow (Microsoft Flow <maccount@microsoft.com>). Is there any way to change the sender information to a different email address?
In this case I would want the email to come from our governance team.
There are prodomantly 3rd party contractors within our organisation and some of these notifications either automatically go to junk folders or they are imidiatly quarantined as spam or malware.
Is this possible to change so that the email is recognised as a business email?
Thanks in advance
Hi @Anonymous,
The function to change the sender information in an approval email is not supported in microsoft flow currently.
As @vecerpa said, you could vote for the ideal:
Also you could submit your idea to Flow Ideas Forum so it might be considered for future releases:

Best regards,

Hi @Anonymous,
There is already created Idea in Flow Ideas Forum - https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Flow-Ideas/Add-the-From-field-on-the-action-Send-Approval-email/idi-p/27106. So please vote for it.
But as you can see right in it is not possible to change sender of email in approval. It will be delivered soon as improvement to approval.
