I have searched for a while, and I see no experience-based answers to this question. I have a few desktop attended flows that are acting stable and the unattended option would seem to be a good tactic for security reasons. For example, a run could be launched, and you could go home from work, no worries. Has anybody migrated flows from attended to unattended and noticed any performance improvement? This would be using the same Virtual machine.

I have a lot of unattended flows and the process you described is typically one I follow (most cases). I will start by getting a stable running flow in an attended version and then move it to a VM once I have worked all any challenges, added error handling, attach to a cloud flow, error notifications, and light reporting as needed.

That said, the only different I have seen is a small variance in steps; that is, something an unattended flow may run too quickly and I need to add a 2-5 second delay OR it runs a little slower (and nothing needs to be modified). For my unattended flows, I am more concerned about stability and reliability so there is a sense of confidence that these flows are 100% virtualized and need no maintenance or user interaction.

It is common to add retry steps in some actions in your unattended flows.
