Flow sends email twice

Hi,

I have created my first flow; it runs when an email is flagged and forwards the email to another email address, and then moves to another folder.  This is to allow us to pick and choose which emails are forwarded, rather than forwarding everything. Here is my flow:

However, it seems to send the email twice. It is only shown in the sent items as sending once, but i receive 2 copies.

Any ideas what i am doing wrong?

I tried swapping it around to moving the email first and then forwarding, but it then marks the flow as "failed" and we were having some issues with some not arriving, so made it very difficult to troubleshoot.

Thanks in advance for your help

Michelle

Is the To SN folder that you are moving the email to a sub-folder of the Inbox? If it is, that is why the email is being sent twice. When you move the email, it is re-triggering the Flow. The easiest way to check this, would be to invert the steps, putting the Move email step before the Forward an email step.

Hi, thanks for your reply! Yes it is in the inbox. I did try inverting them, and it works in that I only get one email forwarded, but I then get the flow marking it as failed, even though it hasn't actually failed as the email is sent. Which i was going to ignore, but we tried sending lots of emails at once to check tat it was able to cope with a large volume of mails - and a couple didn't get forwarded, and i couldn't work out why as they were all marked as failed (if that makes sense).

This is the failure code i get:

I just noticed that it doesn't seem like you are using When an email is flagged (V2) trigger, so you may be using When an email is flagged [DEPRECATED] which could be causing this issue.

If changing to V2 of the trigger doesn't fix your issue(s), then your only real options are to move the To SN folder outside of the Inbox, or to create two separate Flows.

If you opt to create two separate Flows, they'd likely look like this:

    Hi @Anonymous ,

Please take a try with @Brad_Groux 's suggestion to create two flows and then your problem could be solved.

    Best regards,
