Hello Experts

I want to develop an app in which users will browse and select the excel file from their machine and click on upload. On upload, the file should go to a particular Azure blob storage container. I am new to power apps and need help in building this. How can I develop this using power app?

Regards

Priya

    HI @Anonymous ,

Do you want to upload Excel file from your local machine using PowerApps app into your Azure Blob Storage?

If you want to upload Excel file from your local machine using PowerApps app into your Azure Blob Storage, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently.

Currently, there is no control supported within PowerApps to pick up local Excel file from local machine. Although, the Attachments control could select Excel file from local machine, but the Attachments control is only supported within SharePoint list and CDS Entity data source. And you could only use the Attachments control within a Edit form.

More details about Attachments control, please check the following blog or article:

    https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/add-attachments-to-sharepoint-lists/

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/controls/control-attachments

If you would like this feature to be added in PowerApps, please submit an idea to PowerApps Ideas Forum:

    Best regards,
