A powerapps mobile app is used by 50 users at any given time on Samsung S7 or S5e tablets. The app constantly pulls subset of data from SQL tables that contain millions of records and users are constantly updating data locally and writing to SQL. App also loads pictures from Azure and user's typically submit 6-12 pictures at a time to Azure. The app performs well (1-4 second load time per page) on an isolated network and has been optimized for pulling data from SQL or Azure only when needed. A majority of users are on the same network and experience normal performance. There will be general slow downs (+1 or 2 seconds per page) for all users during high peak times of internet traffic 10am-1pm. A small portion of users will randomly experience major slow downs with the app (10-45 second load time per page) for about 3 hours in a week. It is never the same users or in the same area/building on a day to day basis. IT has optimized the wifi network and checked the Microsoft data gateway for bottle necks. We are trying to identify how, what, and why there are random slow downs for some users. IT is looking into network traffic analytics, but I'm failing to find understand how powerapps is executing and what communications the app makes to microsoft server. Answers to any of these questions below or troubleshooting ideas are apprecitated.
