Invalid connection SAP ERP

Hi,

when I try to set up a connection with the SAP ERP connector, even before entering the JSON file with information to which system I try to connect, I get the error that my connection is invalid. If I set up a new one I get this error message:

PA_User01_0-1692712629255.png

Since I never said at this stage which system I try to connect it cannot be a wrong password or user name. (Which also is surely correct).

The on premise Gateway is online and everything installed as described in the blogs... I don't know what I do wrong.

Thanks for your help.

    Hello @PA_User01 -

It looks like SAP NCo is not installed on the on-premises data gateway. Satisfy the list of prerequisites before trying to setup a connection.

    Cheers,

    Scott

Hey we installed the SAP Connector for Microsoft .NET 3.1 from the SAP page and the corresponding  Microsoft C++ Runtime DLLs version 14.x

Do you suggest we try installing the NCo 3.0 from SAP and Microsoft C++ Runtime DLLs version 10.x ?

I just know read that it says NCo 3.1 is currently not supported. I will try with the older version.

    Thank you 😄

Definitely install NCo 3.0 (be sure to grab the 64-bit version). As of today, the on-premises data gateway will not recognize that 3.1 is installed.

SAP will stop supporting NCo 3.0 here in the next few months and we are working on making the on-premises data gateway compatible with NCo 3.1 in a future release.
