Adding Flow Steps (Preview) to Business Process Flow

Hi All,

I am trying to make use of a new preview feature within Dynamics 365 Business Process Flows, where you can add a Flow Step to one of the Stages.

Does anyone know how to make Flows visible within the Lookup when this component is added in to the Business Process Flow? I am struggling to find any documentation on this and how it should be set up.

Thanks

    Hi @LeeHarris ,

I haven’t find any documentation on this part either.

Do you have flows under Solutions? If so, then you could select a flow within the Lookup.

I have made a simple Business Process Flow likes below for your reference:

    Best regards,

    Mabel

    Hi @v-yamao-msft

I recreated the Flow within a Solution (I was unable to add the existing Flow) and it showed up within the Lookup.

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be working as expected as certain Dynamic values such as the Business Process Stage Record Id are blank when I try to include them in a filter query (even tried parsing the JSON output to get the values which are present in the trigger action's output).

I will keep an eye on this functionality and hopefully it will be developed further soon as its something that has lots of use cases for me. In the meantime, I am able to trigger the Flow from the ribbon bar via the Flow menu in Dynamics 365.

My original question has been answered so I will mark this as resolved. Thanks.
