Hi I'm new with power automate.

Can anyone help me on build flow automate copy files from sFTP server to Onedrive Business.

On the sFTP server more than 100 new folders will be created daily, in each folders there will be atleast 1 file, can be up to 30files.

The way I do things right now, I sync manually using filezilla to my onedrive weekly.

Is there a way to do this?

Thank you for the reply! I was hopping it's a problem on my end. From you experience, do you think there's another way to transfer big files from a server to OneDrive, besides the obvious one of installing OneDrive on the server?

    Hi @rahbert

In the old version of the connector, the maximum size was 50MB: SFTP [DEPRECATED] - Connectors | Microsoft Docs

In the new version of the documentation it says nothin about capacity, but I guess it will be the same (30 MB) according to your experience.

    Hope it helps!

    Hi @fchopo
I know this is a bit an old topic but I have a similar flow, the only difference is that the files are about 5GB and the flow doesn't event record as triggered. It works if I created a small file like 1MB.
Does SFTP-SSH has a max file size limit? I couldn't find anything in the docs regarding this.

    Thanks!

@ccmin I'm actually trying to do something similar on a weekly basis, and I haven't started yet (because it feels really boring!) but I think the solution is to have a list (I'm going to use SharePoint) of already indexed files / folders, and then whenever the flow checks the FTP it will check content against the list of IDs (each SFTP item has a unique ID) that are listed, if they're not there already, then I'll add them.

I'm not saying this is an answer to your issue, however, if you follow the thought process you might build a decent logic flow for it yourself ... heck ... you might be able to help me build mine!

    Hi fchopo,

I can't follow the guides you provided to volante.

In my case, there will be 2 files in SFTP server, I need to copy that 2 files and put into OneDrive Business, there are always same name in SFTP, say for example A.xlsx and B.txt.

Once this is doable, I will need to replace the old files in OneDrive to another name and achieve to another folder, how can I do these 2 tasks?

    Regards,

    CCMIN

    Hi @volante

I would recommend you use "SFTP-SSH" connector, and then you could do something like this:

    create-file.png

We are "creating a file" in OneDrive (instead of copying), and the path would depend on the Path at SFTP (you could add "if" or "switch" actions to decide the OneDrive path according to SFTP path).

    Hope it helps!
