I'm using Power Automate Desktop
I extract data from an Excel file.
I need to populate specific fields in a PDF document with this data.
I've already set up fillable fields in the PDF for user input. Is it possible to automate this process using Power Automate Desktop and how ?

After updating the PDF file, I need to save it.

Thank you
Guy

    Hi,

There is no direct action for write to pdf and ui element used for populate data in excel is not recommneded method for it.

You can try word action like write to word document and used (write text to :- before bookmark or after bookmark )
Note :- for bookmark you need to create bookmark in word file for each value you want to populated

and after writing data into file , you can save this word file to pdf

    Thanks & Regards

    Hi,

    Launch Excel
       Open workbook: "YourFile.xlsx"

    Read from Excel worksheet
Retrieve: All available values from worksheet
       Store into: %ExcelData%

     Run application
       Application: Adobe Acrobat
       Arguments: "YourPDF.pdf"

     Create new list: %FieldMappings%
       Add items:
       - "FirstName": %ExcelData[0][1]%
       - "LastName": %ExcelData[0][2]%
       - etc.

For each item in list: %FieldMappings%
UI Elements → Click UI element (find field by name)
       Keyboard → Send keys: %CurrentItem.Value%

    Save as
       Filename: "Completed_" + %DateTime% + ".pdf"

If I have answered your question, please mark it as the preferred solution ✅ . If you like my response, please give it a Thumbs Up 👍.
