Hello,

I am in the process of trying to build out robust flow with multiple approvals based on dollar amount. Is this possible? The steps would be

requestor would submit a Sharepoint form, if the form is over $1k, it would need one approver, if the form is over $10k, it would need 2 approvals and so forth. Notifications would need to be sent back to the submitter once the flow is completed. Is this possible?

Yes, that's very possible. The biggest question is where do you get the email addresses of the approvers from? Are they hard coded based on the amount? If so its just a series of conditions to select the approval process.

Thank you for the message! Yes, the email addresses will be hardcoded based on the amount. Would it be a series of if/then conditions on the approval flow? For example, if 2 approvers are needed for a $10k, then those email addresses would be hard coded in and the loop will be closed, meanin the flow would stop or I could start another flow?

How it would be designed depends on how many different levels you need to test for. If its 7 or less than its just 7 conditions nested inside each other. for example

1) Is the total greater than 100k

- Yes, send approval to three approvers

- No, is the total greater than 10 K

- Yes, send to two approvers

- No, is the total greater than.... and so on

Thank you for the message! It would be 8 conditions, at different dollar value thresholds. Some of the thresholds has multiple approvers. Would I have to create from scratch with the when an item is created or modified trigger?

If all the dollar levels are mutually exclusive you can just do 8 conditions in a row without nesting them. In the yes of each condition set the email address(s) of the approvers. Then send out the approval after all 8 conditions are run.
