Vibe Apps Still Exist and Run in Power Apps Portal, But Have Disappeared From Vibe Editor

I'm using Power Apps Vibe (Preview). Several Vibe-created apps that I built in a single environment have disappeared from the Vibe editing experience, but ones that I've created in another environment are still there. The apps have NOT been deleted. They still appear in Power Apps, can be launched, and are fully usable by users. The problem is that they are no longer available to edit within Vibe.

Microsoft Support reviewed the issue but could not provide a resolution because Vibe is currently in preview. Has anyone experienced Vibe apps remaining functional but disappearing from the Vibe authoring/editor experience? If so, were you able to restore editing access?

Summary of details:
Apps still exist in the environment
Apps are still runnable/useable
Environment still exists
Multiple apps affected
No known deletions occurred
Looking for a way to restore the Vibe editing experience rather than recover deleted apps

    Hi,
I haven't personally run into this exact scenario yet, but given that the apps are still present, runnable, and visible in Power Apps, this sounds more like an issue with the Vibe authoring metadata/index than with the apps themselves.

Since multiple apps in the same environment disappeared from the Vibe editor while apps in another environment remain editable, I'd look at whether something became out of sync between Vibe and the environment rather than assuming the apps were deleted or corrupted.

    A few things I'd try:
    • Verify you're connected to the correct environment within the Vibe experience. Since Vibe is preview, I've occasionally seen environment context not refresh as expected.
    • Check whether recently created Vibe apps in the affected environment still appear. That could help determine whether the issue affects only existing app records or the entire environment.
    • Try opening the app from the standard Power Apps maker portal and see if there's an option to reopen or continue editing in Vibe.
    • If solutions are being used, check whether the affected apps were moved, renamed, or had ownership changed, as preview features sometimes rely on metadata that doesn't always update correctly.
Unfortunately, if Microsoft Support has already confirmed they can't investigate deeply because Vibe is still in preview, there may not be a self-service recovery mechanism available today.

The encouraging part is that the apps themselves are still intact and functional. That suggests the issue is likely with the Vibe editor's ability to discover or associate those apps rather than any loss of application data.

I'm curious whether anyone else has seen this after:
    • Environment copy/reset operations
    • Solution imports
    • Ownership changes
    • Significant edits made outside of Vibe
If you find a way to re-associate the apps with the Vibe editor, please share it here. I suspect others using the preview experience may eventually run into the same issue.

    Thanks & Regards,
