Hi everyone,

I need some honest career guidance. I have 4+ years of experience in operations and supply chain, along with an MBA Currently, I am earning around 3 LPA and looking to switch into a better-paying role as soon as possible.

I am confused between learning:

Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps / Power Automate) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM

My concerns:

I see fewer entry-level openings for Dynamics 365 SCM, Power Platform seems easier to enter but has high competition.

My goal:

Switch career within 3–6 months

Get into a role with at least 6–8 LPA

Can someone please guide: Which path is better considering my background? Is it realistic to enter Dynamics 365 SCM without prior experience? Should I start with Power Platform first and then move to Dynamics?

I would really appreciate honest suggestions from experienced professionals.

I’d suggest starting with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate) and also picking up Copilot features to help you stand out among others.

For Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, your supply chain background is actually a big plus since domain knowledge matters a lot there.

A practical approach would be to start with Power Platform to switch faster, then gradually move into Dynamics 365 SCM. If you can, learning all three over time is a strong combination.
